Young_pattyWeak boy weak thread. Skating has a learning curve the same as other sports you probably just got frustrated not being able to Ollie and quite. I know a couple of dudes who shred in skiing and skating (like sponsors, a shot at goin pro, the whole 9 or whatever) and the thing they both have in common is the insane amount of effort they put into it- like one of em would show up to the skatepark at 7:00 am and stay through most of the night working to progress.
like sure it’s a lot more difficult but you just sound like a bitch saying it’s too hard, Maybe even you should pick up a scooter if you want the instant gratification of learning a tail whip in 20 minutes.
I'm only saying this bc I see so many skateboarders struggle at the skatepark to lace any trick consistently, meanwhile all my (very experienced) blader friends can do like 5 different grinds in a row no problem and then bust out a phat 540. Having your wheels attached to your feet seems like it makes a lot of shit easier to me, but I've also met people who say aggressive inline looks like it's really hard.
I admittedly tried to learn to ollie maybe a couple times back when I did longboarding. It was a lot scarier than I thought it would be, but maybe skateboarding is just not for me.
I have no interest in scootering and blading is still pretty difficult rn (in terms of learning more advanced tricks like alley oop grinds and switchups etc.) So idgaf about instant gratification. I just wanna be progressing every day.
My stamina is shit so I generally don't stay at the skatepark longer than two hours, rip.
