I think punk rock was more anti establishment in live shows. If you listen to like Henry Rollins for example it’s like half the crowd would show because they hated him they would like get in fights on stage and shit. But nothing has the power to outrage millions of conservative white people like some hip hop lyrics, so I have to say hip hop.

Will check out the tunes posted. I mostly listen to punk (Crass, Subhumans, Bad Religion) so am unaware of a lot of the hip-hop stuff. They both seem very politically driven, thought it would be an interesting comparison.
