I cringe at saying this, but I think Magnus Graner has had a huge influence on new wave, for better or for worse.

I’m an old guy who feels well versed with the history of freeskiing (was in junior high in the late 90s, saw MSP’s original Ski Movie when it first came out, saw Moseley’s 360 mute in the 98 olympics, saw first x games to feature skiing, partied with JP, JF, and others from the Air Force, etc.).

Yes. Pollard’s influence is huge.


I can’t believe no one else has mentioned Jon. He’s likely the most financially successful freeskier (maybe by a long shot, too). Google his name and ‘cars’ to see his rides. If NS was in Europe he’d be at the top of everyone’s list.
