Eurocarve on skis

Its a pretty common move on a board and my dream is to do it just on my inside ski with my body straight.
I hardly remember an instaclip where someone did this but it was over 2 years ago and maybe just in my head.
Is it possible and can someone Show me footage of it or even teach me?🙏

Thats lame i want my armpit and my knee on the snow at the same time while one outer/upper ski is in the Air.
Im pretty good at carving only on my inside edge but cant lean enough. I'll try carving Skis next season maybe that makes it easier

idk if his qualify as a true eurocarves, but Daniel Loosli is one of my favorite people to follow on IG. Cool carves and even cooler skier methods. I've tried to replicate both so many times and that made me realize how laughably not flexible I am. Even on the Line Blade it's surprisingly difficult to do on flat terrain.

Thats pretty damn close but in Pipe it doesnt count youre more floating than carving and for me it really has to be on one edge to count

They have just enough tail rise for it to be possible on firmer / shallower snow, but it's definitely sketchy. But it's basically just like how you can technically ski switch on something like the Head Monster 88 since its tail is just turned up enough.

Haha yeah, fine on packed snow, but gets sketchy in deeper snow. Had them out in some deep cut-up slush at Hood last week, and going switch felt like being in a boat bouncing over choppy waves

On this note, one of the more impressive and terrifying feats of skiing I saw this year was my racer buddy carving switch, laid-over GS turns on the Kastle MX99. That's a ski I would never attempt to go backward on... I really wish I had a picture to make all the Kastle fans' brains explode.

Both really good - Sakana more fun the softer the snow is, though still a blast as long as it's not full-on ice. Blade is better for firmer days as it does a better job of smoothing out rough snow but the Sakana is better if you also want to get in the air often as the Blade's swing weight is pretty hefty.

Yeah, I never really felt like moving off the line on either. Both skis are designed with such radical, specific shapes that very much feel well-matched to the mount point. I suppose you could move it a bit, but since they're both super directional, I suspect any minor thing I'd gain in terms of swing weight or balance or whatever by moving them forward wouldn't make up for what I'd lose in terms of carving and the ski just feeling "right." I'm sure there are lots of people moving the mount, but I just never felt compelled to move them.

1. Thanks for the props.
2. Same with the Sakana and Blade. For me the Sakana can handle more conditions. But the blade is also good for hard/ice conditions. Also the blade is more stiff and thats pretty good for hard turns.

For mounting with sakana: I like a + 2,5 to the middle from recommended. I ski also switch so its a lil bit more chill.

Stoked to see your turns. Its fun to try that and I‘m also some steps away from a perfect eurocarve. So lets try that next season

switch carves on sakana looks crazy fun. beeing 215lbsish I tend to make most stuff flex though, so not really afraid of blades beeing stiffer, I can make the mantra 102, 191cm flex... (flex)

sadly realistcly we mostly ski pretty hard conditions so trying to decide.
