I figured it would be interesting to see/hear the worst damage you have done to a ski. Pics and stories accepted.
I’ll start with my relatively tame edge rip out. I ripped out my T Hall edges at the end of a great day at Remarkables resort in New Zealand. I was pretty bummed, it was only my second day skiing in NZ.
dwt802Cried over this snap, had babies these kartel’s since I got them and first lap of the day at bridger my dumbass thought it was a good idea to straight line out of a cliff instead of slowing down and ended up going like Mach 10 through a hidden mogul field... luckily bought a replacement single ski of a homie S/O snow share.
Hidden mogul field? You mean like the moguls in every single runout of every single cliff at Bridger?

Oosh sorry bro haven't been on in a while, yeah yakima fat cat 6's, had them clamped down but not locked, a long story short heard a funny noise like 3/4 of the way home and turned round to find them in the middle of the road, luckily of the five pairs on the roof we only lost 2, and insurance has just come through on em, time for some new skis.

They lasted 4 seasons and probably close to 200 days between Colorado and NZ. Had a few edge cracks and finally a big blowout. These were daily drivers for a while. Highly recommended the corvus, so good I got another set.
