There is no proof he did not resist arrest. None of the security camera footage actually shows him being taken to the ground.

The primary reason poor kids don't often get out of poverty is because they are stupid just like their parents. If you believe in evolution, this shouldn't even be controversial. Wealth is relative; it's literally not possible for everybody to become rich because the poorest segment of society would still be considered poor. However, if you have the motivation to become rich, it's not impossible. It certainly will require you to not be lazy though which is why most people don't do it.

If a suspect is compliant is it necessary to kneel directly of their neck (not proper technique or procedure btw) for close to 10 minutes? Especially when the suspect is claiming they can’t breath? Police brutality is a problem as well. If you've been on a twitter recently, you've probably seen dozens of videos of police officers being hit with bricks, dragged across roads, and run over by cars. This sort of brutality needs to end. Unfortunately, it's the protesters who are perpetrating most of this brutality.
The existing system is mostly fine. We need to arrest and prosecute all the criminals attacking cops, vandalizing public property, and robbing businesses, but other than that, yes we should continue on as usual.
