Turd__AuthorityAnd for anyone debating that there there wasn't criminal intent to murder above, here's the full video. It's clear it goes from excessive force to oops to I'm going to continue this even though I know fucked up. Read my post about the autopsy where I break down the video. If any lay person did this, they would be fucked. https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=CTIq6_1591489222
ScaredwhiteboyThe autopsy lends even more evidence to the claim that he wasn't trying to kill. Floyd had heart disease, coronavirus, and fentanyl intoxication at the time of his death. Those three things almost certainly increased his risk of death by multiple orders of magnitude. What the officer did would not have killed a healthy person. The autopsy claims he died of asphyxiation but you can literally hear him talking in the video. How was he able to speak if he was being asphyxiated? The autopsy found what the violent mob of criminals terrorizing the streets wanted it to find, but its findings are directly contradicted by the video.
Also, the autopsy showed that he was 6'6", 242lbs. That's enormous. I highly doubt the officer could have effectively restrained a man that large via normal means.
Also, George Floyd had been arrested eight times previously, including once for armed robbery, and he was actively committing a DUI when police officers apprehended him. If a white person did all this, society would call him "white trash" and nobody would shed a tear about his death.
The four police officers should be acquitted, and the three who didn't do anything should never have been charged at all.

Turd__AuthorityLmao this idea is gonna be interesting. There's still things we need police for but they do need a change in scope of abilities and more accountability. Protect and serve is not how they act in everyday life. We do need a better focus on poverty, drugs, and mental health rather than pushing it aside and using the police to shield us from it.
Fun fact, Columbus actually has a huge Somali population and my Somali uber driver the one night was talking about how the biggest population of somalis is in Minneapolis. The Somalis call it "little dishu". 🤣😂 I kid you not.
SuspiciousFish@WoFIowz Im chillin. Im actually not even the one downvoting you guys. Im a technical person and like looking at all the facts and details and discussing them. Nice writeup by the way, can you send the link to the report? Ive been looking for the actual doc for a while.
Regarding the meth in his system, it is low but meth does clear pretty quick from your body so there is a good chance it was a higher dose and he was coming down and still on Fentanyl? Also, interesting the report shows a broken rib from CPR, they must have done it in the ambulance so that at least clears them from the people thinking the EMTs didnt do anything to save George as the video suggests.
Turd__AuthorityThere's a link to the pdf in this article. https://www.npr.org/sections/live-updates-protests-for-racial-justice/2020/06/04/869278494/medical-examiners-autopsy-reveals-george-floyd-had-positive-test-for-coronavirus
I can't find the private one though. And yeah CPR definitely causes trauma and can break ribs. Could have happened in the tussle with police too which would further corroborate the respiratory compromise issue, although I vote CPR as the culprit; the autopsy lists abrasions on every part of his body which basically says he was resisting the cops or got roughed up in some sort of struggle.
I'd sure like to see the full body cam footage start to finish. They released some but it's like a video version of a CIA report. Useless. So many redactions.

SuspiciousFishI think the crux of this is the cops should have changed their tactics given this was clearly a medical event.
George was coming down from a 'Speedball' of Meth and Fentanyl with more Fentanyl than meth in his system. This indicates he was previously high on both which countered the downer effects of the Fentanyl. Once the meth wore off, the downer got to him which made him appear drunk and messed up when the employees confronted him. He was also incoherent or threatening when the cops came as the cop initially drew his gun when he came to the car and two cops had to basically drag him out of his seat to cuff him.
George was then moved from the convenience store across the street to the squad car where he collapsed on the sidewalk and complained he could not breath and was claustrophobic when they tried to put him in the car. They got him in but he looked like he struggled and came out the other (street) side of the car and hit the pavement. At this point he was restrained and died during this restraint.
So the case will revolve around much of the redacted audio of the police body cams. What was said during the initial confrontation with Floyd in the drivers seat which prompted the officer to draw his gun? Did he complain he couldnt breath before they even tried to get him in the squad car? Did he threaten any of the officers?
That is the question, were the cops warranted in their continued restraint of George during a lethal medical event and was the restraint done in a way that caused or contributed to his death?
Film. Can you imagine the riots when the DA can’t charge him with 2nd degree? From what you are saying (not sure if true) it sounds like them upgrading the charges may have been a huge mistake. Can you imagine if he walks? Chauvin’s gonna have to move to a foreign country and never come back to America again.

SuspiciousFishAnother interesting thing is George had about 11ng/ml of Fentanyl in his system and based on this study (Results on page 8) teh average ng/ml for fatal overdoses is 9.96.

SuspiciousFishThat is the dangerous thing about this. We are so far down the rabbit hole of rioting etc that having an objective trial is almost impossible. Imagine being one of the poor saps that are put on the jury on this one?

This is why its so irresponsible for the independent autopsy to claim he was healthy when the video evidence and toxicology clearly shows he wasnt. For a defense attorney this is firepower to discredit the independent report entirely.
I wonder if this is why the police cams are so redacted, maybe George mouthed off to the cops initially and made some kind of threat and the cops are keeping it in their back pocket for the court case knowing public release may make it inadmissible?
I can see it now:
DA is under pressure to do Murder 2.
Court video shows some kind of threat made by George initially in the car when cop pulled gun.
Defense attorney shows toxicology of meth and Fentanyl and shreds independent report that he was healthy.
Defense claims since threat was made and drug use, cops had to use restraint despite medical event
Jury is torn and gets hung and probably goes to mistrial.
Cluster fuck ensues trying to get new trial set up that is even somewhat objective
Minneapolis burns to the ground.

theabortionatorI can't post the pictures probably
JAHpow
Shouldn't you know whether you can??
theabortionatorIs there a popular cop movie where they get warrants and don't rough up people in custody, bend or break all rules?
theabortionatorIntrested with cops and live pd getting canceled, what about the real issue. Cops in every tv show and movie made skip out on warrants, don't let people see their lawyer, assault people in custody etc. I don't think cops and live pd were that bad. I understand it but Ive thought the way police were portrayed in movies was bullshit for a while. Would be nice if there was a change.

I like a good movie but Ive long wondered if any of that shit has an impact. Worth a look imo.

Turd__AuthorityKind of interesting all these people getting pummeled for saying "colored people" such as Ellen Degeneres. Do people not know what NAACP stands for? Is this like the N word? Only some people can say it? Like wtf lol people are so anal and inconsistent

Charlie_KellyThey guy fell like a tree, if I stiffed up like a board and fell back on some concrete I’d probably crack my ear open too.
eheathMovies are fiction, cops/live pd is real cops (with some script obviously) but I think this conversation goes down the same path as "video games make you violent" its just not true. Movies are suppose to be ridiculous and unrealistic, hollywood movies are there to entertain us, not educate us.
PeppermillRenoUntil 2 weeks ago we by and large supported a very fair bit of 'roughing up' while cops arrested people.
The very light shove of the guy in Buffalo is why there can't be a Cops anymore. He initiated contact and walked right into their path but people are freaking out like he got curb stomped.
I doubt they carry it over to fictitious arrests in films where we want action.
Cops went to far. And the overreaction right now with the world locked down has gone too far.
Turd__AuthorityUhhhh that dude is gonna die or have severe brain damage as a result. 10+ cops walked past without administering aid (their job btw to stop regardless of the circumstances) when he was clearly incapacitated and bleeding profusely out his ear. Freak out is warranted. Yeah he was instigating the cops but they escalated the situation above and beyond.
DIRTYBUBBLEIt’s almost like he’s 75 years old or something

SuspiciousFishYeah but what did he expect? He was out past curfew in a city that has been looted and burned down and walked into a riot line of cops and started hitting one with his phone. The pushed him back which is a natural response of anyone. The guy was also a known agitator and has been arrested 4 times at different events. I think he was looking for a response to be on film but didnt expect tripping over backwards and cracking his head on the pavement. The cops radioed for medical immediately and there were medics on the guy within 30 seconds. If your a cop with limited medical training, there is no point in stopping when there is nothing you can do and even touching or moving someone with a possible spine injury can kill them.

Turd__AuthorityHmmmm idk if there is lol. Maybe end of watch?
Also watched Den of Thieves on Netflix and omfg Gerard Butler played the dirtiest cop it was aggravating. Almost ruined the plot he was so annoyingly dirty. Present events aside, it was seriously dumb.
