Wowgo is better than boosted but there are better manufacturers than wowgo.

i sold my wowgo 3 to my brother and got a backfire g2 black that was better for 200$ less. The wowgo ran well and had no problems but there are a few problems with it like u cant run it thru a single puddle without getting water damage and the rear axle is bolted together in a very degenerate fashion.

if you want a great value then get a backfire g2 black for 400$. It is just as good as most boards that cost 800$ or more.

I have a low, long commuter longboard setup and it's still a bitch to get up hills. I think this could actually be a good alternative to a bike in a city where you don't have to go super far.

If you spend 5 seconds on a wowgo 3 you will never ride a bike again. Its not as much exercise as biking but the stoke level of feeling like you were riding something made by porsche is off the charts.

I bought a Chinese knockoff electric long board and it caught on fire and burned up the electronics. I sent a request for replacement parts but big surprise no one responded. So I filed a complaint with Amazon and they refunded me 90 percent of what I paid. So I got to mob around for a year on a self propelled long board all in for 100 bucks

why would u not just ask for a replacement to be sent?
wowgo 3 and 3x are engineered very very well. I think you must have boughts some off label garbage.

It was a Genesis. Which is the same as Koolwheels or whatever. I think Amazon did actually give me the option of replacing it but I was like not if I can’t get any support from the company to order parts if they break, I was mad at the company for ghosting me so I took the refund and bought a paddle board instead.

why would I lie about that? There is nothing to be gained by sharing this experience. If you send an email to that company and someone actually answers it then you are probably good to go.

I’ll look into it. The main thing that I liked about the genesis was that the battery wasn’t embedded in the deck. It was about the same size but was just bolted into a steel frame track thing. So if you wanted to you could buy a second, third, whatever to increase range. They claimed 20 miles range but I was getting about 10 on my commute, which included about 100 feet of elevation gain and I am 200 lbs, so pretty good. Also the brushless motors don’t drag like a belt driven boosted so you can coast like a normal board when your batt is dead. Maybe they fixed that by now I haven’t looked at them in a few years.

Damn i didnt know belt drives dragged. Thats one of the things i love about my wowgo 3. I can coast down hills or coast on flat after ive accelerated and i lose very little speed to drag.
