weastcoastWhat’s the benefit of not building a park rn?
a_burger$$$$$$$
With skiing in such a high demand and supply so limited its not like they won't sell out reservations daily anyways.
theabortionatorMaybe in terms of building out huge real estate for parks but not really a reason to not build one. And tline has a big customer base and reputation for spring and summer parks. Idk what extent they'll build, I have no inside info, but I can't see a reason they wouldn't build a park.
a_burgerBeing independently owned Timberline might be a little different, but I feel that any resort running on a "limited basis" probably doesn't have parks high on their priority. It's not so much the cost of building the park either, I assume it's purely staffing. The resorts around here are being absurdly conservative about how many people they have on now, even with normal maintenance work that would be happening regardless of if summer activities were open.
I bet there will be some features up within a month but I doubt it would be on the scale they had planned for this year.
crawleysmall park tomorrow
palmer this week
big park end of june
such respect for tline putting this all together
ScootSkiLyfeDoes anyone know if T-line will be hiring people this year? Have been planning on getting a summer job there for months now.
Next option might be to work for some other company that has lift ticket exchanges for days worked or something.
Anyone know?
HedgehogSteezeAnyone know if they'll have a big enough jump for dubs and such this year or nah?
