Finally got access to a trampoline

Started working on frontflips, bios, and corks. Didn't really land anything but I got consistently close to bio 5 (might have been misty not sure). Cork feels like it wanted to go to 7 but idk how to make myself get upright again when I land. Any general tips for progressing on a trampoline?

For 7's I like to get to around 3 and be on my back and then bring my legs out and have them rotate around to land on if that makes sense. For progressing, practice really makes perfect. Practice throwing 7s harder and bringing it to 9. Then changing up the rotation so it goes to 10, then maybe going for dubs and working on opposite spins. It's really just like skiing where it's all repetition. Also It's a great workout so you'll be ripped come ski season

If you get bio/misty 5s locked in, you can sort of cheat cork 7s by thinking of it as doing a 180 into a bio/misty 5. It looks and feels weird for a while but that was what got me doing them. Once you get used to the rotation it feels more like a backflip trick, if that makes sense...

Try keeping your core flexed and legs/hips engaged as you come around the first 3 on the cork 7 (kind of like you're throwing a shifty). This should help you continue to drive the spin and bring it to your feet.

Idk why but since I 180/360 to the left naturally I feel more comfortable corking over my left shoulder but when I'm throwing myself forward into bio I tuck to the right

Hey shit, I bet that'll help you spin both ways better in the long run. I learned to misty by throwing 540s and kind of tweaking them to the side until I felt comfortable going all the way over, so all of my spins only work one way (left). Maybe one day I'll work on spinning right, but for now I'm hoping to take some of what I've already got to the snow first.

So work on all tricks both ways, as you clearly already have some sort of a natural ability to go both ways comfortably.
