What up Newschoolers.

We got another instalment of Ask Me Anything with one of Skiing's most talented athletes - Alex Hall. This man accomplishes more in one year than most pros do over a couple seasons. You can tell he's got a passion for this sport and if ever you got the chance to meet him you'd know he is one of the most humble skiers in the game. Alex also cleaned up last year at the Newschoolers awards and took home Best Male Skier of the Year.

Your comfort with the seatbelt grab is frankly ridiculous. Now that you make that look easy, have you considered going farther? Seatbelt but grab blunt instead of behind binding? Screaming seaman then seatbelt grab crossed ski? Chest Harness (seatbelt grab with both arms to both skis)

Alex do you remember giving your Xgames (buttermilk) jersey to a little 10 year old boy after you won slope a couple years ago. Well it meant the world to him and inspired him to work harder than ever....a year later he got to forerun the xgames and got a shot on the Faction insta page...thx for spinning up the stoke!

Nah I actually don't stretch that much. I think being tall just kinda helps with grabs. Probably the cork 1 I learned a couple years ago.

Don't exactly remember when I learned cork 7's. I was a weekend warrior until age 16 actually. Style def comes with time.

Shh-RammerYou've been killing it on the podium with that sick new grab and it's insane. What gave you the idea to try it and how long did it take to perfect? Big fan man, keep crushing!


Not really sure what gave me the idea. Just kinda happened. Took a couple years from doing it in mellow tricks to finally doing it in my hardest ones. Thanks!

shinbangclanNot a question, but the first ski movie I ever saw was This Is Home. In the last segment (verbier) you did a 540 nb 360 (40:20 in the vid). When I saw this three years ago I wasn't that into skiing, but when I saw this trick it made me think "that was cool as shit" and sparked my interest in freestyle.
So basically, thank you for introducing me to freestyle skiing. You are the goat and one of my role models.

Not really. I think flipping might be a lil harder but it also has some perks.
