Stupid ski boot sizes

For the past 4 years my boot size was a 30.5 now, all of the sudden my feet start growing. Does anyone realize how fucking difficult it is to find good size 31 boots. Is it that hard for ski boot manufacturers to make a few larger sizes?

The answer is go to a good bootfitter.

31 is a very large boot... not saying it isn't what you need but I'm skeptical that it is unless you have yuge feet

I size to 30.5 but run a 28.5 just for better control. 31s are gonna be a special order for most shops, I'd go to a bootfitter and have em dial you in

Yeah, I'm prolly going to size down to a 30.5 so I can get touring boots. Not a single touring boot is made in a 31/31.5

down size and punch if you have to. In my 11 seasons of bootfitting (literally 1000s of fits) i could count on 1 hand the number of times i have fit a genuine 31.5.

With that being said, i have rented out a size 34, dude was like 6'10 and must have weighed 300lbs. There are no piste oriented skis that even looked close to appropriate, i think we ended up sorting him out some beer league GS skis, he was only an intermediate but i'm pretty confident he would have snapped alot of other skis.

put ur boots over the fire to soften them up and then shoev your (UNSALTED) buttered foot in them so they widen out

13 or 14 in most shoes, except for when I can find a 14.5

This, literally just have a bootfitter expand a size 30.5 boot. Plus the "31" boots will actually be a 31.5

I wear a 13 shoe and have a 1.5 finger fit in a 28.5 shell. Hit up a bootfitter It'll change your life.

People generally wear shoes that are like a centimeter or two longer than their actual foot. I used to think I was an 11.5 and now I ride 27.5 ski boots and skates
