SOS don't buy Scott's Broadcast spreaders

So got a small one of these a month ago and applied some fertilizer to my yard a few weeks ago. Well yesterday noticed I've got green stripes in the areas where I was walking. Cool. I applied correctly with the correct settings. Turns out the spreader throws stuff into the wheels resulting in a more concentrated area under the spreader. Fuck. Anyone want a free spreader?

Id go a little bigger, my friend. The small ones dont do shit at all, even the the medium/large-sized bins will do a great job on small -- large yards. The larger ones account for spread much better and is what we use to fert greens and stuff at our course. Its nbd if you end up getting fertilizer in like mulch bends and stuff, it just looks a little weird at first but then it goes away
