little1337Let's get a whole NS squad going one day
SkylineGTR_R32When I make my edit next year I’m going to posting it on NSers instead of IG bc I get more love here.
I think the community is def on a climb. I’ve been spreading the word of Newschoolers to as many people as possible
little1337I love posting ski stuff for other skiers to see, on insta it seems like people wouldn't understand why a certain trick is cool or hard and just think "wow cool whirlybird!"
animatorScrolling through the home page, I come across the most insane videos, usually only 90 seconds long or less. I’m stoked for everyone here that puts out content, you guys are all killin it. This community is sick af and if anyone is in NH/ME area and wanna link next season, I’m pretty good with a camera and love to shoot stills and video 💪
BLandzIs it just me or does anybody else fucking hate it when people say no cap
pinkcamo1000dude huge facts, I wish more people and sponsors etc. would realize this. Like cool you got a bunch of views on insta, but how many of those people actually ski or will buy the products being shown in the video? Whereas if you get a bunch of views on NS, those people are guaranteed to be skiers and the exact target audience for the products that skier is wearing/skiing on. IMO views and likes on NS are like 10 times more meaningful than each view and like on insta, but I'm not sure companies and team managers would agree...
SkylineGTR_R32I feel like less people know about Newschoolers and that’s why. Bc instagram is more mainstream so you can reach more people and it’s easier to tag brands and have them see your content. I am personally just going to start linking my videos on my Instagram so it’s like a best of both worlds thing where I can get people who don’t have a NSers account to be able to access my content but also have people on NSers who can’t access my IG page access my content.
danielloosliIts also very unique. For an example, in snowboarding there's no such thing as NS. Blessed to have a platform like this!
pinkcamo1000I think you're missing my point. Yes, insta is way bigger and you will get more views. But how effectively will those views translate into sales? What I'm trying to say is that while NS is a much smaller community, literally everyone on this site is pretty much guaranteed to drop at least few hundred bucks on ski gear a season. I don't think you can say the same about people on instagram.
pinkcamo1000yo as a dude who is super successful on insta (love your content btw) how do you feel about the NS vs Instagram debate?
little1337thats cap
BLandzIf you say cap one more time im gonna bust a cap in my cap and thats no motherfucking cap dawg nawmsayin
pinkcamo1000it's lit fam I got the drip no cap
little1337Truth people have been killing it lately, the site itself has put out some good content too recently which I love to see. Im in Southern Maine and always down to link up with a fellow NSer
_IRRELEVANT_I’m from southern nh and would be down to ski with some of you
CeleryIf this happens I'd vote for somewhere central, I don't wanna have to drive like 4 hours to Mt Snow or Killington
