i've never understood why blocking ads is so important. i understand using it, but turning it off really shouldn't be a big deal. how do you expect a free site to make money?

Its not about having ads, its about how cancerous the ads are. I bet ChadThundercock's got some pretty annoying ad algorithms based on what he posts. Also, ads will often take up 10-50 percent of your data if you have a cap. That being said, I have NS and shredsauce whitelisted on my ad blocker 😎

This is not true at all, ads are optimized to load fast, video players use data not forums/articles/photos.

Well, its august, not alot of people running ads on a ski website this time of year, you'll see them filling up starting next month. Its actually interesting how goggle ad sense isnt even filling sometimes, thats gotta be a bug @TRVP_ANGEL ?

So I have an adblocker on. guilty. If I turn it off and I still am not clicking the ads, does this help NS? Eg can you show the advertiser that its reaching +1 more user, even though I don't click anything?

Yes, they know how many times the ad loads, views on the ad count for revenue, not just clicking. You can just add NS to your whitelist and boom you're good to go.
