The are softer than typical wheels but the are fucking awesome to ride on and make popping ollies really smooth. Also they are much quieter so you dont annoy the neighbors.

Young_pattySee I need me a hard wheel for the powerslides- currently on Spitfire formula 4's and theyr'e like ~100 duro. Probably won't go much softer than that once I gotta replace em cause like I said- Power slides are fun af and at times essential.

FruitBootProNot true at all. I used to do downhill longboarding and my slidiest wheels were 75a Powell Peralta Snakes (SSF formula). I could slide them standing up at like 10mph or probably less, super sugary. Just work on your form. Obviously they're not gonna feel as icy as hard wheels but they'll actually give you a cushy and fast ride and give you some damn braking power lmao. Idk about atf formula, but Powell G-Slides are made with the same SSF formula as the Snakes and are even harder and probably small enough to fit on a shortboard, so maybe try those.
Long story short, formula matters wayyyy more than durometer when it comes to grip and slip.

DolanReloadedBearings DO make a difference. Its not as much as the bearing makers want you to believe but it is a factor.
SuspiciousFishI ran into a random kid at a park years ago that had Bones Ceramics on his downhill board. He let me try it out on some flat ground it was was spooky how far that thing rolled. They are probably not worth the cash but still pretty cool.
AsherDonati24Got the Bronson G2's. Roll great. I also had cheap bearing before that and they rolled almost as good. Idk if the brand really matters.
