Giro Ledge

I used to sell lots of helmets when I worked in a shop pre-Corona, so I’ll throw in my two cents.

It’s pretty generic. Not much tech to it. Not as low profile as a Giro Jackson or a Smith Maze. It comes down pretty far for a low profile helmet, but that’s not always a bad thing. Not a bad helmet at all. Plus, mips technology is cool. My buddy had one and never had any complaints.
I say go for it, but ultimately trying it on will be the final judge. Head shapes are different.

If it fits Giro is legit. Above poster is correct about low tech etc. It is fine to rock the goggles under as it comes and the helmet clip just pops out

I didn't know there was such thing as helmet tech, what features are there on high tech helmets? Of course there are higher quality parts on a more high tech helmets but does it really matter that much?

I got the Jackson myself, a little bit pricier than the Ledge but still a reasonably good helmet for a decent price. Obviously not on the same level as other helmets on the market but its a decent piece of equipment with MIPS. I got plenty of use out of mine this season, they're pretty compatible with most large-sized goggle frames out nowadays and even better if you have giro goggles.

Lol you just posted on how you can't stand the helmet.

I did - you're right! It doesn't work for me but it may for you. I spend most of my time between 50-65mph which may be a big factor. I should have mentioned that. I have to tape up my Smith IO goggles to for instance because they make my eyes water otherwise.
