When you bring your camera outside in the cold weather, put it in a ziploc bag while you’re still outdoors before you go into the lodge making sure there is no air in the bag. If the camera is in a ziploc bag condensation will not form since there is no air in the air-tight ziploc bag. Just don’t take the camera out of the bag before it reaches room temperature. I have been doing it for years, it works every time.

after you are outside, when you bring it back to your house, put it in the garage. its a little warmer than outside in there. then after all the moisture is gone, bring it inside.

pour some warm water in a ziploc bag, and then leave it in the snow and come back a few hours later
