Replying to Alpine Sole Touring Boots
Hey,
I've used the search feature but couldn't quite find what I was looking for, sorry if it has been answered before.
I have a situation; Next winter I'm going to Grenoble to study. I plan to be skiing more than anything else. Just bought some lighter skis with shifts for touring cause the Alps are awesome but there aren't ski lifts everywhere. Also I didn't quite like how my current touring rig worked, being frame bindings and heavy skis and all. My boots are, after more than 200 ski days and multiple repairs (thanks Rossi for shitty aluminium pivots) kinda beat up.
So, I have multiple skis with all kinds of bindings, the only that would be grip walk or Wtr compatible are the frame bindings I'm trying to replace, and the shifts themselves. But my other skis have regular alpine bidings, many Demo cause I usually buy at shops at the end of the season, so the Jesters on my kung fujas which I plan to bring along to Grenoble are not compatible.
What I'm looking for is a binding that has pin but is also compatible with (older) alpine bindings. ISO 5335 dimensions if I'm correct.
Until now I've found the Technica Cochise, Lange XT Freetour, Head Kore 2, Rossignol Alltrack Elite, and I have some old k2 Pinnacles that don't fit me but I know they are also what I'm looking for.
Am I missing any?
Thanks for any input
