This past week my friend accidentally broke one of my 2019 Rossignol Black Ops 118s while they were strapped to his sled that he was riding. Before I ask him to buy me a brand new pair, I was curious to see if anyone knows if something like this would be covered by Rossi's warranty policy (I tried searching on NS and Google and couldn't find anything very relevant). Has anyone ever been in a similar situation and received a single ski from Rossi? Does anyone know if it's a possibility to buy a single ski? Just curious on how I should go about this.
Seems unlikely that it would be covered under warranty if the ski was broken due to any reason other than manufacturer negligence (eg your friend didn’t strap the skis on carefully or accidentally rolled over them idk how he broke them). However it’s defo worth asking Rossi if they have individual black ops skis from demos / blemishes etc which you could grab on the cheap.
They might have an extra one but it's unlikely it would be covered and they would have one the same size. I think you'r best bet is to try to get a discount or something on a new pair
It's worth trying to get warranty depending on how they broke. Black Ops are known for coming apart under the bindings. I've seen about 6 pairs of new black Ops where they just blow up under the bindings.
