SofaKingSicki'm getting into birdwatching, it's awesome
dude that was the best, you can fuckin GRIP doing that. took some seriously character-building falls doing that lol
Oh man, it was all fun and games until you crack the whip too hard around a cul-de-sac and end up getting sent into someone's front yard. Ill never forget that almost sickening feeling of acceleration as the rope tightens and you get whipped around.
Use to be into remote control gliders but the repairs would take forever, still have them even one frome Germany with a 12 feet wingspan but eventually got into the hand launch ones wich are the funnest, just throw them up buy the wing tip like a boomerang and catch thermals

That actually sounds really chill.
The stuff they are doing with FPV RC planes is pretty wild:
Its a great way to spend the day, slope gkiders is fun cause you gan get into aerobatics , inverted high speed passes, square loops etc but the hand launch you just fling them up and cruise around catching thermals and sometimes can get it so high you can barely see it and yea fpv is insane especially the long range stuff. The hand launch is a good starting point cause they're small, alot are pre built and you don't need a hi-start, winch or a slope with the right wind, just find a field and go.

The Republican Party is pretty close to being the opposite of what it was during the Lincoln-era. It was founded on the cause of ending slavery and providing social relief programs to the poor. They still were shitty to immigrants and imperialist among other things, but they were circumstantially liberal. Oh how times have changed
ArtyomHuh, Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. Embarrassed of him?
weastcoastnot Embarrassed of it but I am borderline obsessed with cutting grass and making perfect straight lines or zooty patterns when I cut my yards
Trains too. I’ve loved them since I was a kid. Those things are cool as fuck and you can’t tell me otherwise. Not the toy/model ones anymore though.
My grandpa had the coolest train room when I was little. It was two levels (One was WWII era with a Air Force base with bombers and fighters and the top was modern with a seaport etc). I used to spend hours down there hooking up different train cars and sending them around the tracks.

My great uncle had something similar, it took up his whole basement. Fr my favorite times ever as a kid.

Beat me to it.
When I retire and can no longer ski or bike, I'm 100% heading towards becoming a trainspotter. Got it from my Grandad.
oldmanskiI drive around cleaning up debris off the road ways on my spare time. Im the guy that stops every time when there is something in the middle of the road and removes it, dead animals to construction garbage. Ive been hit with stuff in my car and while riding my motorcycle, no fun when something is flipped up by the car in front of you and it comes through your windshield or into your chest on your bike.
my stepdad used to drive around with the farm truck and pick up roadkill to leave in one of our fields for the vultures. we ended up using most of our land for conservation of different bird species, so I never really thought twice about it hahaha.
I'm not embarrassed but I grew up with astrology and I know how it works decently well . Not your phone horoscope daily stuff .. real stuff. It's spooky as fuck tbh. And anyone who doesn't believe, well as far as I'm concerned they're just not convinced lol . I can't do actual weird chart readings but I know more than the stereotype some would like to associate it with. It's a tool for understanding why you're alive in a greater sense . Always was
Mushroom hunting except all my good spots have either been logged off or victims of forest fire, going morel hunting in a couple weeks in my last remaining spot. Time to find new grounds i guess.
Powerful medicines do it for me. Kind of like brad pitts character in 12 monkeys who checks himself into mental asylums so he will be given great drugs.
i was in a psych ward once where they put me on soma. It was kind of a nice feeling of having really flimsy jello like muscles (soma is a muscle relaxer)
funny story: while i was there we had this friendly black feenager there who they were detoxing from opiates. They were supposed to give him 12 mg of oxycodone but the idiot jamaican nurse gave him 120. Me and this girl there were laughing our asses off watching him pass out repeatedly into the bowl of soup he was trying to eat. I heard the jamaican nurse getting chewed out by the other jamaican nurse which was funny too. “Waht wah yo theenkeen! You give de bouy twealve tuyms waht he was sooposed to geat!”
funny shit.
that girl smoked so many packs of newports she had to breath through some nebulizer thing everyday for her copd or some godawful permanent condition.

I’m a huge guitar nerd. Musicians will understand but like I’m so into gear and what not... pedals, amps, guitar pickups. I’d get into detail but most people wouldn’t understand. But I’m a tone chaser! :)
MinggI really like making dreamcatchers. I made a rather large, 3 piece minnie mouse dreamcatcher, bow and all for my cousin. I have a mountain weaved dreamcatcher that's not fully finished but I'm waiting until I think of something better to do to it. Those are probs my favs but I have about 100 mini ones laying around. I don't really use them to decorate or hang up though. I just like making them and giving them to people.
I am also fully obsessed with Disney World. We go every year. Def can find me belting the Lion King soundtrack when stuck in traffic. Hakuna Matata bitches.
Not hating at all - but can you please help me understand the Disney Obsession? I know people who spend thousands and their vacation there every single year. I just can't understand it. I watched Disney growing up but never got to the point where I was obsessed.
My inclination is to just hate on people that are obsessed with it like a cult, but I'm also addicted to skiing, so I'm trying to understand.

My family has been going yearly since it opened. It was a tradition my grandparents made with my dad and his siblings and now my entire extended family goes every year. I’ve been going since I was like 4 so it’s turned into like more of a nostalgic, let’s be a kid again kind of thing. I’m not like “omg a princess” kind of Disney fan, but I do enjoy the atmosphere of Disney world and have some old Disney movies I very much enjoy. You’re totally right, it’s weird lol. But I like it
edit: when I go you’ll never see me waiting hours to meet characters nor cramming into weird spots to watch the parades/fireworks. I’m getting drunk around the countries in Epcot or trader sams and laying on the beach. The rides/shows are pretty nostalgic though ngl. Theyre not necessarily thrill rides - id go to cedar point if I wanted that but Disney rides really are beautifully themed and more story oriented. I 100% am about that life.

Not embarrassing, but odd: I collect minerals.
There are a few guidelines I follow; They must be found in nature with the host rock, I have to be the one to pick it up from the region; I will not buy them and they cannot be altered.
I dont believe in any of the superstitiuous BS, its about exploring a region, going for long hikes in the middle of nowhere and appreciating chemistry. Also, if Im travelling, I want to be able to find rare minerals and blow peoples minds.
The collection is getting pretty extensive. I got to visit historical mines and learn of my areas past.
My next big project is making a ring from what I found. I already started extracting gold from pyrite samples and learning how to cut gemstones to fit them onto the ring later on.

ok since I'm pretty fucked up I'll come out of the grow chamber on this one. Buying/collecting mara ja wa na beens from Europe. Sannies gear, doc chronic, gypsy nirvana, i boughy them all. I was too constantly stoned to realize the amount of $ I was spending at the time but all in all my favorite was f13 and original blue moonshine from DJ SHORTS was my favorites, peyote purple was nice as well but I know times have changed and things are better know so whatever.
I love playing racquetball, such a fun sport. Hardly ever get to play anymore but took a class in college for easy credits and had a blast. Other than that I've gotten super into fly fishing and fly tying in the last few years.
