CLQYeah I’d be fucking embarrassed if I was republican too
Young_pattyalso love watching older anime.
ArtyomHuh, Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. Embarrassed of him?
TnskiUse to be into remote control gliders but the repairs would take forever, still have them even one frome Germany with a 12 feet wingspan but eventually got into the hand launch ones wich are the funnest, just throw them up buy the wing tip like a boomerang and catch thermals
SuspiciousFishThat actually sounds really chill.
The stuff they are doing with FPV RC planes is pretty wild:

weastcoastnot Embarrassed of it but I am borderline obsessed with cutting grass and making perfect straight lines or zooty patterns when I cut my yards
Trains too. I’ve loved them since I was a kid. Those things are cool as fuck and you can’t tell me otherwise. Not the toy/model ones anymore though.
SuspiciousFishMy grandpa had the coolest train room when I was little. It was two levels (One was WWII era with a Air Force base with bombers and fighters and the top was modern with a seaport etc). I used to spend hours down there hooking up different train cars and sending them around the tracks.

oldmanskiI drive around cleaning up debris off the road ways on my spare time. Im the guy that stops every time when there is something in the middle of the road and removes it, dead animals to construction garbage. Ive been hit with stuff in my car and while riding my motorcycle, no fun when something is flipped up by the car in front of you and it comes through your windshield or into your chest on your bike.

MinggI really like making dreamcatchers. I made a rather large, 3 piece minnie mouse dreamcatcher, bow and all for my cousin. I have a mountain weaved dreamcatcher that's not fully finished but I'm waiting until I think of something better to do to it. Those are probs my favs but I have about 100 mini ones laying around. I don't really use them to decorate or hang up though. I just like making them and giving them to people.
I am also fully obsessed with Disney World. We go every year. Def can find me belting the Lion King soundtrack when stuck in traffic. Hakuna Matata bitches.
JpurdNot hating at all - but can you please help me understand the Disney Obsession? I know people who spend thousands and their vacation there every single year. I just can't understand it. I watched Disney growing up but never got to the point where I was obsessed.
My inclination is to just hate on people that are obsessed with it like a cult, but I'm also addicted to skiing, so I'm trying to understand.
MinggMy family has been going yearly since it opened. It was a tradition my grandparents made with my dad and his siblings and now my entire extended family goes every year. I’ve been going since I was like 4 so it’s turned into like more of a nostalgic, let’s be a kid again kind of thing. I’m not like “omg a princess” kind of Disney fan, but I do enjoy the atmosphere of Disney world and have some old Disney movies I very much enjoy. You’re totally right, it’s weird lol. But I like it
edit: when I go you’ll never see me waiting hours to meet characters nor cramming into weird spots to watch the parades/fireworks. I’m getting drunk around the countries in Epcot or trader sams and laying on the beach. The rides/shows are pretty nostalgic though ngl. Theyre not necessarily thrill rides - id go to cedar point if I wanted that but Disney rides really are beautifully themed and more story oriented. I 100% am about that life.

freestyler540Not embarrassing, but odd: I collect minerals.
There are a few guidelines I follow; They must be found in nature with the host rock, I have to be the one to pick it up from the region; I will not buy them and they cannot be altered.
I dont believe in any of the superstitiuous BS, its about exploring a region, going for long hikes in the middle of nowhere and appreciating chemistry. Also, if Im travelling, I want to be able to find rare minerals and blow peoples minds.
The collection is getting pretty extensive. I got to visit historical mines and learn of my areas past.
My next big project is making a ring from what I found. I already started extracting gold from pyrite samples and learning how to cut gemstones to fit them onto the ring later on.
TnskiOh yeah mineral specimens, I maxed out a couple credit cards obsessively buying them along time ago, lots of tourmaline and beryl crystals
grantlewis_dntmthey're MINERALS MARIE

safarisamI am such a history nerd, I collect trench knives from WWI. I started it when I was about 12 or so? Anyway, I've got over 30 now.
