JpurdI honestly stopped listening because he was getting so annoying. When he first started, there was a sense of self awareness, that he knew he came across as cocky and self absorbed. Now listening to him, he just says the thing over and over, he interrupts his guests, and he is so self absorbed. I've been listening to Two Planker and the Mayrand Podcast, and it's refreshing to hear the guest speak for more than 20 seconds without being cut off.
It's a bummer because I thought for a minute the podcast was really going to turn a corner, but man he just needs to stop being so self centered.

CatdickBojanglesYeah it had a ton of potential but Dumont just couldn’t shut the hell up and let his guests talk. I haven’t listened to a full episode in awhile. I’ll start one and get annoyed and change it quick.

the way he talks is so disjointed too, it’s like he swallowed 4 pages of a thesaurus but his recall is garbage so he just stumbles through questions trying to use words that sound profound.

Regardless, I’m watching Long Story Short on the Level 1 Vimeo and it’s reminding me of how the whole park ski scene was when I was growing up. I really hope Simon hasn’t called it quits. He’s a link to those days. Super cliche to say it, but it makes me happy to reminisce on those times.
So I want him to stay around.

Being insecure is human, yes. But being a faux self aware, arrogant, rude, condescending dumbass cannot be written off as insecurity.
Simon can be very preachy at times and it worries me that kids look up to him for his skiing and just assume that everything he says is scripture because of that. Replace Simon’s name with any jabroni that just so happens to be a professional athlete or a good ______ and it’s the same thing.
Im not coming at you here, it’s just…Simon annoys me so much.

SofaKingSickTanner's episode was the best because tanner was a surprisingly good interviewee and because in tanner's story, hearing simon's parallels is actually sometimes relevant and interesting

teamdummyI was voracious for ski podcasts for awhile, and then grew tired of the formula. I like conversations and opinions. They all are pseudo interviews that start at the beginning and recap the skier’s life. That can be interesting no doubt. It’s just cookie cutter after awhile. Level1 is coming back with their podcast. I liked their Level20 shit a ton. Interested to see where they go with their comeback.

nmwninjartI've been binge listening to the bombhole at work lately. You don't even have to know a thing about snowboard to enjoy it.
I'm so glad to hear the level 1 series is back.
I just discovered a new podcast done by Bruce oldham called Banged Up with 43 episodes so far. He's got Bella bacon on an episode. I haven't listened to it yet. Got it ready to listen to at work today.
