ON3P flex

Since ON3P is doing that rather nice sale atm, I’m looking into copping some Jeffrey 108s. I know that they’re a fairly stiff ski but can anyone actually describe to me what the flex pattern is like? And how stiff they are on a 1-10 scale kinda thing? Cheers

As a general rule of thumb ON3P's are more on the stiffer side. The middle will be stiff but it gets flexier towards the tips, maybe like an 8 in the middle and like 6-7 out at the tips- they're super poppy for nollies, ollies, butters and shit tho so you'll still have a blast on em

Yeah this is accurate, I’d say the Jeffrey is a 8 or 9 in the middle, slowly moving to a 6-7 in the very tops and tails.

They tend to be stiffer than most freestyle skis, most notably at the ends where most other skis are quite soft. That said, ON3P's rocker profiles also make them feel a bit softer than they are since (1) there's a less ski contacting the snow so they feel a bit shorter than their actual length and (2) for butters and presses, that rocker creates a nice leverage point so they're easier to bend than their actual flex pattern would suggest.

Definitely on the stiffer end of things. I got a pair this year and it changed the way I skied (for the better) but I was skiing way more forward and way harder on them. Later on I got a pair of prodigy 4.0s for all the chill slow swervy skiing and those nice sloooow butters. (will butter out of some cliff drops if i'm too for back) But if you are moving from a pair of armadas or factions or butter machines be aware that i'll be stiff(er)

ill add my two cents here,

i definitely agree to them being 8-9 stiffness underfoot, and then a 7 out on the tips. once you find the hinge point while doing a butter or flex its not an issue. SUPER poppy. you can boost so high while doing nollies and presses.

I would snag them before theyre gone. will probably be one of your new favorite skis.

One last question:

I already have Vishnu wets as my day to day ski so I’m probably just gonna take the jeffreys out when there’s a bit of fresh snow to rip. But they will still venture into the park every now and again

so where should I mount them? I was thinking -2cm but I’d like any other recommendations. Cheers
