Replying to Preparing for next season!
I haven't skied in many moons, but my wife and teenage son are eager to give it a shot for their first time. I THINK I have it narrowed down to keystone. They seem like a hip spot for families. But I am open to suggestions. We air bnb so lodging usually isn't an issue. The big trip is being planned for christmas vacation (I KNOW, but I am a teacher so we go when I can go lol), however, I am considering a quick trip over after thanksgiving. (is it even open enough to be worth it then?) Also, essentially as adult beginners, is Keystone a good place to learn? Money isn't tight, but we don't have multi thousands to drop on one vacation in the vail/aspen type scene. I will be buying some sort of season pass for myself. We are from Kansas, (Jerry alert, are we better or worse than texas? Do I want to know?) so would like to stay in the central/eastern portion of Colorado. Any and all info is appreciated, I know its a lot to unpack......
