pinkcamo1000I have regs wets and they are a surprisingly stable ski for how soft they are, like they are way better at high speeds than blends. Amazing ski for exploring the mountain and doing dumb rock jibs and side booters, I actually think they're an amazing east coast tree skiing ski cause they're so maneuverable. I've found them to be most fun when I'm shredding tiny mountains.
That being said, if you're looking to charge or do big jumps get the +. Lots of the guys sponsored by V seem to be riding the + models in the park a bunch cause they're doing jumps and shit.
andrewt69yea i cant do much on jumps. a 5 is all i got so far and hopefully a seven this season. You think the wets can take that?
pinkcamo1000that's all I can do so you're golden! I would think about the + if you're gonna try flips though. The wets are stable as long as you're in the sweet spot, but a little too much forward or backward and they will flex out. That's what makes them amazing for butters and jibbing though, you can just lean into them effortlessly.
andrewt69i am thinking about front flipping over a knuckle this year but i kind of think the wet might help me if i undershoot it and i can just wheelie out
pinkcamo1000Don't expect the tails of the wets to like, support your weight a lot. They will straight up flex into a quarter pipe shape. That being said I think the regs wets are definitely what you want, especially if youre gonna be at a super small hill
andrewt69word bro thanks. are they light?
pinkcamo1000Lightest skis I've been on, swing weight is 0 I can do flat ground 3s haha
