What boots does Magnus Graner use?? anyone have an idea

Nordica. They look like the Nordica Strider line with the blue shells and orange buckles with silver accents. If I had to guess I'd say the Strider 130 pro but I haven't seen a clear enough shot to know for sure

Having walk mode engaged is key to doing butters. In all seriousness if he is in an AT boot I’m pretty impressed with the strength of Nordicas walk mechanism because it gets some serious stress on it doing some of the butters and tricks he does.

It probably fits his foot well because he went to a boot fitter. Lmao in all seriousness though, he does do some touring as well and the Strider is a great 50/50 boot

Settle down there big shoots. I'm just saying that it's a bit strange, surely the bootfitter could put him in a non 50/50 boot for what he does primarily? Given he's skiing at a high level in the park which is super rough on gear, he might choose a more durable option.

Striders are fantastic boots and I've only ever heard good things, but wouldn't you agree that some comprises were probably made in the design process to make the boot tour better vs have better downhill performance?

Oh absolutely a downhill boot would be stronger overall without the compromises, it’s probably just the boot he likes the most tbh

It's a pretty light and super hard boot!! It also fits my foot better than any other boots I have tried. Way less shinbangs! But the walkmode can break sometimes but I usually fix it on my own. Make sure to try them for hours in the store or ask if you can bring them home and walk around for a long time in them. Also try other boots! every foot is differant!

5 years ago nobody would ride park with a walk mode, now it doesnt seem to matter. I think thats a testament to how good the touring crossover boots have gotten. I rode park last year on a pair of lupos and this year on a pair of lange xt's (the 120 without grilamid) and noticed zero difference. In fact, if you gave me the choice between my xt's and some full tilts I would def choose the xt's, but I would chalk that up to the support that a 2 piece boot gives compared to a 3 piece.
