Replying to Anyone live in Birmingham?

Hi all

Having spent the past 4 seasons in the French Alps, I've decided to go off to uni in Birmingham in September to study. I was wondering if anyone here goes to the snowdome in Tamworth regularly, more specifically for the freestyle nights? Are they worth going to or just save my money for ski holidays during my breaks? I was also wondering the easiest way to get there as I won't have a car and my university don't have a snowsports society that go so any advice is much appreciated!
