No_Gorby_GapDamn even more rocker
AsherDonati24Does anyone know the brand? Those look scary as hell to ski fast in.
No_Gorby_GapI’m guessing that dude just rocketed his own skis. I would be very surprised if a brand actually made that ski.
CatdickBojanglesNah those are just next years surface outsiders.

skithemidwestttUnique and exciting alpine skiing with skiing abilities beyond the ordinary!
A banana ski is perfect for us who want to go without effort or give us on difficult and steep terrain. If you want to hang the kids out in the woods, this is the perfect choice. It is for the forest they are designed and that is where they really come into their own!
They have been tested in many different conditions this past winter and also developed in their construction. In piste they work great, even better than conventional when it is smooth and icy. The grip on ice is so good that the steel edges have to be slightly blurred. There is not much difference in grip when the substrate changes character which is nice. In addition, fault cuts are a memory only with bananas on the feet because the ends of the skis are not on the slopes. You do not want to go on really hard ground as they are more stubborn because of their shape, but who wants to go on it regardless of skiing ...
Banana skis are easy to turn regardless of terrain and snow type and thus very fast to brake with. You must not be fooled by the rocking chair shape, they are surprisingly stable. Beginners on downhill skiing can handle light slopes more elegantly and also venture on much steeper slopes. The bananas are actually easier to ride than regular skis. The fact that it is easier is also good for us who are used to riding, the limits of what we dare to can also be stretched. Difficult terrain is just fun now! Humps and spring slush, for example, have become nice. It's wonderful when you get the chance to broaden your views!
This winter the banana skis on the back of the Åreskutan were tested, including in a small and steep gutter called "Bananen", so fantastic fun! 😉 It should be said that there are also disadvantages compared to regular skis. Carrying and storing them can be a little trickier. Unfortunately, the slide is worse, which means that you want to avoid flat slopes. The softer it is, the worse they slide. Although wide, they do not float well on soft snow.
Steep and semi-soft off piste is absolutely wonderful to go! Steep powder has not been a chance to try yet but is probably very nice. If you can't avoid a flat party, you must be prepared to stay. Going uphill does not work well as they like to aim uphill. Due to the worse slide, banana skis cannot be said to be almountain skis even though they are really good at a lot.
If you are looking for a different riding experience, join us next winter and test these unique skis! 😁 The skis are only available in a universal size. Not for children.
We have a problem with the design and that is the durability of top layers / edges. Therefore, we did not manufacture the skis that were intended this winter. We hope to solve this problem during the summer so that more people get the chance to try these fun rides and get out on snowy adventures! ❄ 😍
