Replying to Touring skis
Given the covid19 situation, it's looking alot like the aus resorts may not open at all this season, or at least late, so i was planning on getting a touring setup, and curious the way I should go. Right now, I only have my K96s mounted with pivots, and RX130s, so looking to put together a whole rig (and happy to drop a bit of coin, but not heapsss)
It seems the ideal width for Aus backcountry is around 95-100, which obviously crosses over with my K96s. Given this, what would you recommend as a decent touring ski in this range? Happy to go on the lighter side of the crossover skis, but still want then to ski well and handle instead of those ultralight things some people use. Also shifts? Or should I go something lighter like kingpins?
