really interested in seeing how resorts are gonna fare next season....one can only hope things like cheaper tickets/passes just to get skier numbers up if everyones gonna be a bit broke because ski trip numbers are definitely gonna be down next season along with pass purchases. resorts like snowbird fucked up personally cuz no one is gonna buy an over $800 single-resort seasons pass

I think if you are living by any of those mountains your kind of pot committed. People factor their pass into their living costs for good reason.

Wouldn't be surprised if some resorts give a discount on 20/21 passes for folks who had a 19/20 pass, but would be surprised if vail resorts gave a discount. Either way hopefully there won't be as many people cause more people being broke from this current mess.

Boreal is doing their first price cut off at Halloween. That's legit imo. If im back in tahoe another season i might buy one. Probably will. Times are too tough right now to buy anything though.

Sugarloaf in Maine had a whole Sugarloaf 2020 expansion plan, it'll be interesting to see what they decide to do. I hope they build it still but I get it with the situation goin on

No surprise capEx is pretty much shut down.

I said in another thread, I think Vail is going to have a tough time with this. Worst case maybe 1-2 quarters with pretty much $0 cash flow in. That will destroy any company - not to mention Vail has a large overhead and debt.

nothing more I can say other then speculation and opinion.
