The point I am trying to make with these posts (and I hope people will start pitching in) is to get a worldwide touring forum. Not just the horse shit one that we currently have going.
That said, I have lived in Denver since 2011. Before that I did ski seasons in Vail and Breck between 2003 - 2006.
As you have already guessed, I am old. That stops absolutely nothing. The game just changes. I went from park to backcounty and loved every minute of it. Still do.

Listen... If you actually skin your ass up to the top of Torrey's, it will be one of the scariest touring missions you have done in your life.
It was hand down the craziest thing I have ever done on skis. That said, it doesn't need to be that. I take my dog up the road and just casually skin up there toward the summer trailhead and let him run around. It's whatever you want it to be.
