Quarantine Daily Achievement Thread

It is always good to do something meaningful, especially now. It is to easy to just sit on the couch and drink right now. This is the thread to post daily accomplishments during quarantine.

This morning I knocked out a bunch of course work and this afternoon will do some more after doing some cleaning/maintenance on the bike.

Haven't drank in almost 5 days and buit some small skate ramps with a buddy in truckee. Skated his stuff and the neighbor came over for a bit and he had built a 1/4 at his house so we seshed that as well felt good to skate some transition.

Started piling up some shit lumber towards a 1/4 for the driveway. Only downside is fence is 6 feet away from rock wall. Wanna build 8 foot wode cause of materials. But might have to do a 6er then do something else with the smaller pieces.

Was thinking of building 2 1/4s so I can put them together or have 2 on opposite ends of the driveway for a ghetto mini. Idk. Might just build 1, 6' wide and call it good enough. Then the fence can open freely.

Wouldn't be a problem is theres another fence but I know roommate would freak out for no reason so not worth it.

Been playing the bass skating and hiking a bit. Ue check came through so paying off some people i owe loot too and buying a lil but of lumber to build a driveway ramp.

Rocks 6 days sober but gave it up tonight. Still was nice to take a break and hopefully will drink less heavily. Talked to guitar center and hopefully figured shit out and actually have a fucking acoustic getting shipped asasp.

Trying to get constructive hobbies in my life

Thats sick damn you'll have so much stuff to do now, I started learning sweedish yesterday because I felt like I needed something constructive lol

Hell yeah. I started learning german at a few point but never got too far. Might give it another whirl.

I lucked out that my buddy works for guutar center. Otherwise getting ahold of anyone is literally inpossible. I canceled my old order, bought a new guutar and 2 day shipped it so it wouldn't get fucked with ground. Expected delivery is monday but ill tske it. Im just stoked to have it coming. Have a fucking tracking order. 8 days in on my ither order and no trqcking, no update no anything lol.

Gonna pick up some lumber today and get to buikding tomorrow.

Also prolly going to make a corn hole setup for the deck.

Just trying to find shit to do. I think we're all in the same boat. Good to aee errbody pursuing hobbies or trying some new shit while we're all stuck in covid limbo.

I bootpacked to the top of collins lift at alta today and passed people who were skinning up. I then skied some pow and mostly groomer which was awesome.

Replaced the section of my neighbors’ shitty 30yr old cattle fence that went along my property line. A little bummed that these deer probably won’t jump into my yard anymore but I needed a fence for my doggo. Next up is a brick fire pit, seeding the whole yard and planting the fence line.
