Official lampshade thread

CharloTheHarloOnly the fanciest of lamp shades will do. Personally I prefer victorian era because I believe it brings the utmost elegancy to any room.

ThegenericskierAh interesting opinion considering the victorian era was a rather lame era in time. Personally i think the medieval era lamp shades were the superior simply because they were the most metal of all the shades

CharloTheHarloOn the contrary modern lamp shades tend to cary lots of metal with their seemingly Minecraft like design. Its sharp edges make it a perfect weapon to any unwanted visitors. Thus modern lamp shades are second best to only a victorian style lamp shade and in third lies the dreaded medical era lamp shade.

steezboxNot even joking, the amount of times I see a really well put together room just ruined by shitty curtains man. Some people have such bad taste. And blinds; just spend the extra money. Cheap blinds and curtains can kill the whole vibe. Definitely should start a thread.
