So my dad is very against “stealing” pvc from a township building, construction site, etc. and places that sell wide pvc have a stupid high price on them. Anyone have any ideas on where to find pvc like I’m talking about where it wouldn’t be considered “stealing”? Pictures for reference for what I’m looking for:
If you can't find one could cut a circle the size you want your tube to be out of ply. Run your 2x4s from those and add normal 2" tubing. Will have sort of the same vibe as a fatty tube because you can slide way inside and move around a bit. Haven't done it but just a thought.

I have two, I found one on an old ranch where it was used for irrigation and another that was broken in a garbage pile that I spotted from the highway. I go both for free, 20 ft total! keep your eyes open!

Yeah. I will when I'm on my laptop.
Basically cut two pieces of ply, thickers is better into half circles. Let's say 12 inch across because that's the diameter tubing you wanted. You can run 2x4x between them around the edge. Put your pvc on the 2x4s like you would a normal rail. Instead of just being a flat rail you're kind of putting a bunch together in a half circle. If you bump into it weird or surface swap on an angle it won't be as smooth as a tube but it couod give you a similar feel.
You could lock on to the inside and roll up on top etc just like you would on a fatty tube.
Getting a legit tube would be better, but a lot of people have troible finding them/affording them. This is a kinda ghetto version but backyard shit is always a lil ghetto. I think it would work. Also would give the obtion for people to make more kinks with them eithout worrying sbout cutting your only holy grail 14' fatty tube. Could be real fun for elbows and zs to really get inside without just being on a 2 inch pipe.

I know this thread is a couple years old, but craigslist. all i did was make a wanted ad and posted a few pictures of reference. the next day i got a text from a guy about my ad, and so i went and picked up two sweet pipes from him. One is about 9ft long, 12inch diameter. The other is about 10 feet long, 6inch diameter. Its so fun for hucking shit on. I got another 16 foot long pvc pipe with a 8inch diameter just from my dad's buddy that had a couple left over from his ranch. Heres the pipes:
