Ive talked with multiple shop technicians and they've seen a good amount of Armada JJ UL's come through with the bindings ripped off because the underfoot is too light weight. is there anyone else that had this problem?
scratchskier321you have to screw them in by hand carefully.
I can attest to that, mounted my friends normal jjs with my drill and then did mine with the same torque... His were perfect but mine had some pretty huge volcanoes and a stripped hole. Was also surprised to find a metal layer when I drilled mine since I couldn’t find anything advertised about it. Really fun ski though.
The shop I work at has sold that ski for years and we've never had an issue. It's easy to strip holes on a lightweight core material but any good tech should know to be careful. A step drill bit also helps (3.5/4.1x9.5).
