toastmango was still on some pretty high level shit at that point, def not a very average skier. i believe in 2015 he was either on or starting to train with the US national rookie team, and he also was finding some pretty creative approaches to skiing back then too.
I agree Toast. Although his Real Lap may have lacked a bit of luster, he was getting really good. I think he was having an off day that day, and the park was not very built either due to low snowpack during that time.
Anyway, I knew him and Hunter would go places. They had the drive and support of some great parents.
I made the call on Lucas Wachs too. and look at him go now.
I did not really get to know Tim Durtchi, although word was he wanted to do a Real Lap video back when I first started doing them. He left the area after that to pursue the Big Mt, stuff.
There have been some good skiers & snowboarders come out of Bachelor, and it's been fun for me to have seen them grow.
