Yes, like any non-symmetrical ski. It’s not designed to ski there so you’re gonna fight the sidecut of the ski by being ahead of it. Will also be easier to fold the tips if you’re ever blasting through choppy snow or fresh, etc.
People do mount forward if they’re riding mostly park, but usually it’s like -2.5cm from centre or so. Recommended mount is around -4.5 and it skis really really nicely there. Balanced and it’s still quite forward compared to most skis. Still carves really solid switch there too.
