severniyHas anybody skied current Candide 3.0? I hand flexed them and it felt way too stiff ski for a freestyle all mountain/pow ski. How do they handle pow? Are they butterable with ease or it’s a hardworking ski? How are they on slow speed? I assume they are quite good on high speeds due to stiffness. How is their durability?

Can’t say enough good things about it. They handle pow, they handle groomers, they handle everything and anything you can throw at them. It’s my every day ski for the east coast. They’re awesome at lower speeds and incredibly solid at high speed. I have 0 durability issues with mine whatsoever. Highly recommend! Mine has a shift on it and it’s a perfect daily driver/touring ski. Cheers!

what can you say about their stiffness? They're definitely one of most stiffest freestyle skis while hand flexing them. How does it affect on snow feel?

They’re not quite as stiff on snow as with the hand flex. Definitely a solid ski, I wouldn’t call it super stiff though. I can still butter and press mine when I want, it takes some more work but the added stability is well worth it.

I haven't rode this years but I rode the 2019's for 5 days in Jackson Hole. The first thing that stood out is the durability is the worst I have ever seen. Within an hour of mellowish skiing and just warming up, there were like 4 new top sheet chips. As for the stiffness, they seem stiff when you flex them by hand but kind of loosen up when you press them with your boots on. They're very good at high speeds and overall a good ski but I'd beware of the durability.

2020 and 2019 3.0's are completely different skis. 2019 version is much softer even with longer sizes, different geometry and different mount points.

This years is different construction, and top sheet chips aren’t a great measure of durability anyway because they don’t affect the skis performance. I haven’t had any durability issues on mine at all
