ski_salmon69Does anybody know if uphill travel is allowed at Roundtop/Liberty/Whitetail? Ik everyone would probably say it’s not worth it, but I’d love to try to make some turns in April. I’d also be willing to check out Blue Knob.
Twinjibber77I haven't checked regionals in a really long time! I've been skinning at RT for the last two seasons (like once last season) and only got "caught" once. Most people don't care if you're being smart about it, but this year I really want them to formally allow it because I want to keep my epic pass. This is the first season they've explicitly said uphill isn't allowed on their website.
ski_salmon69damn didn’t even realize they officially have it banned, now would be a good time to go. i think some people hiked it at the end of last season
doubleblackjack1They just formally allowed uphill at roundtop. there is a sign at the ski patrol with the designated route and designated hours. Follow the rules! Ski patrol can be real dicks about stuff like that. They recently took a bunch of passes for skiing off into the trees between slopes

Twinjibber77I just found out about this yesterday! What's the story with the pulling passes for skiing in the trees between slopes?
doubleblackjack1I don’t know, but some friends were telling me about a group of 5ish kids that were skiing somewhere around lafayette
ski_salmon69ya you can get into the trees there a little bit but I’ve never really seen patrol over there much anyways
ski_salmon69Here’s the official info about roundtops uphill policy
