Everyone needs to get off Trump's back (edited opinion)
After a couple days of providing false hopes to people as a way to deflect criticism, he is now pitting states against themselves. Rather than acting on requests to centralize and distribute resources, he is putting the responsibility on the states to deliver. Not all states are equal in their ability. I'm legitimately mad at how childish he is being in such a time of crisis. Like dude wtf.
Dude seriously what the fuck. This is the time for the government to take the fuck over. This is still one country that will all be affected by this pandemic.

As much as I dislike trump I have really disliked the medias obsession with him.
That being said, him denying disbanding the pandemic response team and his inaction, failure to take responsibility, and stupid actions hopefully wakes some people up for this election cycle.
His incompetence is showing seriously bad right now. Literally the governors and the CDC are gonna get us through this. Trump is in denial again. This is the time for him to be presidential, a leader, hold us together, yet I've never felt our country was so missing a leader until now. Thankfully the states are going above and beyond. Do you watch/listen to the entire press conference or just the highlight reel from some media outlet? It’s amazing how misconstrued his words are played out when you have time to watch the entire conference. I never heard a specific date even though the press countinulessly asked him, as if he or anyone would know. I heard he would like to open America in a matter of weeks, not months.
There has little to no coverage on Pelosi and Schumer completely derailing the stimulus package that all these less than fortunate Americans are relying on because they want to add pieces of legislation that involve airline emissions and diversity in the work place. CDC could of been calling the shots in early Febuary and FEMA is the government emergency response team for any major catastrophic event in America. It's literately their job to handle something like this.

A treatment? A person died because of the shit he said on TV. A 60 year old man took a form of chloroquine, along with his wife, because they heard Trump talk about it on TV. Again, you also run the risk of people not taking the disease seriously because they think it can be treated. There's conflicting clinical evidence about the effectiveness of HCQ and ARVs in treating COVID-19.
What he should have been doing, from the start, was not downplaying the situation.

He had warnings about how his tariffs would impact medical supplies in event of an emergency. He ignored them.
He had a NSC Pandemic team. He disbanded it.
The list goes on, and on, and on.
Don't give me some bullshit about providing "hope". False hope does no one any good. Provide some semblance of stability. Tell us the reality of the situation and how you're going to address it. Don't give us platitudes and barren words. Give us a fucking plan backed by experts.
