Ive been wondering why tyrolias new attack2 bindings have such a shallow toe overhang (picture 1) compared to the attack1, and it seems like its done so certain alpine touring boots (picture 2) that have a very short toe lip can still have the front of the toe lip reach the front wall (i dont know if theres a better name for it) of the bindings toepiece.
otherwise i dont know why tyrolia would have made a binding with such shallow overhang.
