This is just the best thing ever, by openly using a property as your own you can become a rightful owner after a certain amount of time. Typically paying taxes is involved, but shit that's better than including the property cost.

From what i understand you cant acquire a house unless its abandoned like the shithole in fightclub.

otherwise im going to go break into a 3 million dollar condo at the st regis in deer valley and squat my ass like its going out of style.

detroit though you could probly find some decent abandoned houses but you might be late to the party.

Harder than you might think. My neighbor tried to pull this shit on me so I got an attorney and lit his ass up to defend my property. Use must be open, hostile, notorious and continuous for I think 7 or 10 years. Permission is an absolute defense against adverse possession

Squatting is a pretty good method of wealth redistribution and can definitely help alleviate homelessness. There's a group in Oakland, CA called Moms 4 Housing that's currently doing some good work.

Well, I think this could take you too much time and it will not guarantee you for a 100% that you will receive this house. I mean, this schema looks like a scam and I have never met even a single person who received his house in that way. With all that you will have to spend a big amount of money to repair the house. I have a better idea, why don't you use that money to buy a pretty new property. For only 50000 euros you an buy a new - built apartment on the sea shore. You can find a couple of great apartments in Bulgaria, a country by the sea, for a really low price. Trust me, this is much better than loosing your money for a house that was used as a bunker for homeless. Some states justify murdering anyone that forcibly breaks into your property without your consent totally legal.
