How do you spin more while flipping?

I’ve finally been getting my corks, flat spins, and sw rodes down but it doesn’t feel natural to spin more with them. I’ve gotten a few cork 9s and flat 5s but not consistently.
I feel like when I see them in videos especially with flat spins they’ll flip a little harder then spin out at the end. Any other tips?

As for op, if you want to slow down your corking so you spin more y axis rotations (spinning) for each cork (z axis rotation [flipping]} you want to stand up more which makes your z axis rotation slow down in order to keep the angular momentum around the z axis remain constant. Angular momentum stays constant, because besides wind resistance (and gravity), no force is acting on your spinning body, and you need a force to change momentum.
