How to flat 7 (help)

I have been trying to flat 7 all week, and I cant quite get it around.

I’m gonna be the troll here...sorry. You’re doing rodeos not flats. A flat is not inverted and a rodeo is. You are clearly inverted. My advice regardless of flat or rod is try perhaps trying for a little more spin and a little less flip. You are very flippy which is making that last 180 you’re looking for backseat and off axis a tiny bit. But overall super clean. Keep it up.

the only flex I have on this is that its the alley at Sierra at Tahoe.

Your timing is off. Start spinning while you are still sideways but only after the main flip is completed.

Also: Flats and rodeos are the same trick

Tbh they actually are. Same set, same idea. People are gonna twist your pee pee about this comment but they are basically the same.

You can’t do the seven because you’re flat 5’s are actually too good. You’re setting a perfect flat 5 and trying to whip it around to 7 last second. Just set it sideways harder off the takeoff rather than at 360 trynna whip it around.


don’t set it too hard sideways tho cause then you might bio. The reason why most pros call “rodeo/bio/flat 9” is because in order to generate enough sideways spin to rodeo 9 you basically automatically end up doing a little bit of a bio. Practice on the ground setting your flat 5 but really hard sideways (like real hard) at the same time and that will make sense.

You obviously have never tried a rodeo 9 or it would makes sense. Theres a reason why tons of pros call “rodeo/bio 9”. Once you get past 720, rodeos and bios are pretty much interchangeable
