What chain of mountains to hit from Calgary

In my opinion, if you’re only there for a week, you can skip Sunshine and do Lake Louise, then onto Kicking Horse, then onto Revelstoke. They’re all along the same route and not too far apart from one another. I would definitely prioritize revelstoke and kicking horse. Check up on the weather often though: there’s a stretch on the highway called Rogers Pass (between Lake Louise and Kicking Horse/Revelstoke) that will shut down if the weather is shitty. If that’s the case, I would do Lake Louise, maybe Sunshine, and definitely try to boot down to Fernie, BC. Fernie is basically 5 big bowls in a row and it gets a lot of snow, really playful mountain. :)

Wish I was flying to Calgary and not Seattle with the Corona shit on Thursday. Schweitzer/Whitewater/Bridger are on my pass so doing those along with Red and Fernie and the Jake Burton free day at Big Sky.

I have a feeling the drives between each are going to be longer than they say IE leaving Nelson BC to ski Fernie that day will be a pain and I'll want to be out by 530am. I'd sort of just stick to KH and the Banff area places. Have fun. You probably don't want to do the Montana hills Whitefish wants 140/day and Big Sky 155 and I think thats with a prepurchase discount. Probably double what anything in Canada costs. Bridger is reasonable.

Nelson to Fernie is under 4 hours. Only one mountain pass on the route and this time of year it's usually in fine condition so it shouldn't slow you down. Still - probably better to leave Nelson in the evening to ski Fernie in the morning if it's an option.

I did Nelson for a few days and skied Whitewater and then went to Canmore and then Calgary. It was great
