domaleiYo. I’m looking at doing a gap year next year and wanna work as a park attendant somewhere in Colorado or Montana or utah. Any resorts that have good parks and hire frequently?
GKScan you ski park well?
theabortionatorA lot of Vail resorts have a decent size staff and a ton of turnover. That says vail sucks to work for. For mega corps aspen ski co is pretty good and aspen is pretty dope when it gets snow. Aspen and highlands are killer mountains and snowmass has a dope park. Buttermilk is alright.
I would say apply to multiple locations for sure. If you don't have much experience apply everywhere, especially the big boys. Getting that experience and a good reference is everything.
Idk, I got into it by complete accident 14 years ago and a bunch of winters and 4 summers later I still dig it. Beaver creek is always hiring but I would use that as a last resort for CO. They don't even build rodeo anymore and it isn't worth it imo. I love the mountain but to go for park would be sad. Keystone and copper are probably tough to get in with limited experience but they both have awesome park programs. Snowmass is pretty fucking legit too. I don't know too much about montana and never lived there. Seems like big sky builds a prettty good park.
Good luck man!
