So I've been able to 3 for like 8 years now and I'm really comfortable with them, but I've never been able to get any nice grabs with them. This year I want that to change and I've been trying them more, but I still can't seem to get any clean grabs, and when I do get a grab it can look pretty stupid sometimes. After trying a few kinds, lead tail and safety seem the easiest to start out with, but I want to clean those up and also get some other grabs like a mute or trailing blunt.
Here's a 3 with a lead tail grab that just ends up looking kind of sloppy:

Here's a carved 3 with a leading safety that also isn't that great.

Does anyone have some tips as to how I can make those grabs better or advice on other grabs I should try / tips on doing those?
