What's so special about ON3P?

I've seen Siver and plenty of other athletes on ON3Ps and obviously according to some friends and reviews, they ride awesome and are a great ski. So naturally I started looking into a pair, prices aren't anything out of the ordinary.. just seems like super hyped ski.

so what's up with ON3P?

the brand was born on this website (and TGR). the progression of the brand has been detailed here from day 1. the owner/founder is an active member and an awesome, smart dude. they're handmade in portland. the skis are built exceptionally well. they have impeccable customer service/customer relations. they support progression and keep their ears to the ground. they care about their brand immensely. etc. etc. etc.

I have always wanted a pair of on3p skis but since I am pretty weak I have always been deterred by the weight of them and also their stiffness. however they seem like really cool skis.

They are so well built that their is only 1 confirmed pair of them that have actually broke and that was because he skied them into a ditch.

I have been trying to find things I don't like about my kartels and the only things I thought of can easily be dealt with by getting a different size or model

Just look at magnus and u can see how stiff they r. Just put ur weight into them and you’ll be able to hop around like a kangaroo

For me it’s the materials.

On3p:

bamboo core- which is super stompy, I won’t go back to other woods. Super damp. Always has that bulldozer feel.

2.5 by 2.5 edges + 1.8mm bases on ALL their skis. I’ve had the shop tech complain about how hard my bases are. It takes some effort to get a good base sand/grind. Which means the bases are tough and last so much longer than other brands I’ve ridden. Thicker edges and bases than what most people are on. Which also means Longer tuning life and more durability. Significantly less scratching and core shots compared to my 4frnts, lines, etc

3/4 edge wrap: I’ve seen too many full edge wrap tips get blown up. 3/4 is the way imo.

rocker: I like a ski with a lot of rocker. Love my caylors.

full sidewall: some companies use a a part semi cap part sidewall. Not a fan of it but full sidewall usually comes with more topsheet chips at the tips. But it I like the ride of full sidewalled skis better. Personal preference.


those are the main points that have gotten me hooked on on3p, and keep me hooked. Killer customer service. Get on a pair and thank me later.

I like to recklessly smash into rocks and go sharkhunting and they hold up really well to that abuse. I just don't really have to worry too much about low tide skiing and they don't force me to hold back and tiptoe around low coverage areas of the mountain. They aren't impervious to damage but at the end of every single ski day I am always surprised by how little damage they have taken compared to how many impacts I felt.

They aren't much heavier for their width if any than other brands.

I dont think they are too heavy to work well or anything but my friends magnus's are a lot heavier then vishnus or blends or really most park skis ive interacted with.
