Replying to Line Sir Francis Bacon vs. Armada ARV 106
So, I posted awhile ago asking about the Line Sir Francis Bacon vs the Faction CT 3.0, and can say that I ended up buying the 2019 SFB's. When I got them I was actually pretty surprised how the ski rode compared it's general review, and am now curious about people's experience on the Armada ARV 106. My primary surprise was how stiff the noses were on the SFB's. I found them pretty stiff for butters, and overall a lot more stable than people let on. For me, I actually didn't love that. I want a bit more of a powder hungry flexible tip.
That being said, was wondering what experience people have had with the ARV 106 and the newer, redesigned SFB? I know the new SFB has significantly more flex to the ski, but have been a little concerned about the width of the tails for powder. I like the profile with the ARV but would love some feedback from people that have skied it. Let me know!
**EDIT, I know people love the ON3P Kartel, but I'm probably not getting...
