Where are you seeing a difference of $190? The retail on the 6 vs 8 is only $100.

With that said, the pro liner is definitely a great upgrade over the performance liner. It is a decent bit stiffer overall, whereas the performance liner is a bit soft. They're not quite as stiff as an actual power wrap intuition but as good as it gets with FT. For the extra $100 I think it's worth it. Don't forget your flex though, the 8 will also be stiffer and definitely more of an all mtn boot than the 6.

Yes. They seem pretty standard. the ones I have are the closest to a real intuition power wrap that I've found.

I have a pro wrap. In my first chair tens. Worth every penny. That being said..... I was told that the only difference between the 6, 8 and 10 was the color, tongue stiffness, and liner. I would of called full tilt direct and told them I wanted a 6 with a pro wrap liner and 10 tongue and would of paid the same as the 10 just so I didn’t have to have white. But get the 8. You can make it into a 6 or a 10 just by switching the tongue and you’d have a better liner then the 6.

The new liners in the first chair 130 and 120 are a serious upgrade. They are actually part of the way we increased the flex of the boot. The cuff has been made much stiffer as has the toughness. These too changes help give a more precise feeling and a firmer fit. It actually shares some of the same technology used in the new k2 recon pro 140 flex boot. The foam pact has also been improved to give a firmer fit in the heel and ankle. Still use the ultrasonic foam which is the same used in intuition liners. So yeah some great improvements.

The cuff of the liner is built up on certain liners yes. It’s part of how we made the boots stiffer.

I believe we will sell them yes. The new fc 130 also has the 12 tongue so you may want that too to get yours up to 130.

The new FT Pro liner is nothing close to a high density Intuition. I don't know where FT asked China to put the 7mm high density Ultralon, but I'm guessing the heel. The rest is a combination of 4mm open cell and 2mm Ultralon. Compare that to a Power Wrap made entirely out of high density Ultralon: 12mm body and 7mm sole.

Sure the pro liner is stiffer than the other FT offerings, but it's not as stiff as a PW. Why not get the cheapest FT shell that works for you with a sweet flexing 6 tongue and then spend the rest on a power wrap. 12 flex tongue in a FT....please. Sven Coomer would puke. The beauty of the classic is the flex. But hey, bros be charging so hard they need that 12 tongue. BS. Skiers in their 40's and 50's now who raced on Flexons, you're excused because you only know the 10 tongue anyway.

Sorry, I just hate all this seeming conjecture about the goodness of FT's liners. They are fine. IMO they are not $200USD liners. Spend a couple bucks more and get an Intuition. And the pro is not worth the extra $ relative to their performance liner IMO. The both have stiff cuffs and sloppy lowers. Intuition is stiff all over. I have no affiliation with Intuition other than I'm very familiar with their and FT's liners.

Are you talking about the wrap? Because I got the new tongue liner and it is super stiff. Feels like a way more low volume fit than the wrap liner. I have no complaints about it other than it’s kind of a pain in the ass to get on.

Try sitting in one first before you buy it. If it's comfortable, get it! My brother and I have one of those mamasan chairs. Every time I sit in it I fall asleep. Yes, they are comfortable.
